Chris Bullivant, Founding Senior Fellow, Social Capital Campaign

Chris Bullivant is Founding Senior Fellow at the Social Capital Campaign, a research and policy initiative focused on how families, friendships, and local civic institutions build social capital and support upward mobility in the United States.

He previously helped establish the London-based commentary magazine UnHerd and worked at leading UK think tanks, including the Centre for Social Justice, where he contributed to the development of welfare and poverty policy proposals adopted by the incoming government of Prime Minister David Cameron.

His writing and commentary have appeared in outlets including USA Today, the Washington Examiner, Deseret News, and UnHerd.

His interest in public policy was shaped through early work in faith-based nonprofits, including with individuals experiencing homelessness and with students engaged in local community initiatives.

He holds a Master’s degree in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of London.
