Emily Jashinsky, Columnist, UnHerd
Emily Jashinsky is an Advisory Board member of the Social Capital Campaign and journalist based in Washington, D.C. She is the host of After Party on MK Media, co-host of Breaking Points, and a columnist at UnHerd. Emily also hosts a weekday show on Sirius XM.
From 2018 until 2024, Emily worked as an editor at The Federalist, and host of the flagship podcast Federalist Radio Hour. She previously co-hosted “Rising Fridays with Ryan and Emily” for The Hill and covered politics as a commentary writer at the Washington Examiner.
Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Telegraph, The Hill, RealClearPolitics, and more. She’s a frequent media critic and writes often on popular culture.
From 2020 to 2024, Emily taught young journalists as director of the National Journalism Center, where she remains a member of the board of governors. Emily is a graduate of George Washington University. She was born and raised in Wisconsin.
