Rob Peabody, Co-Founder and CEO, VOMO
Rob Peabody is the Co-Founder and CEO of VOMO, a web-based platform and app leveraging the strength of technology to power a global volunteer movement, recently acquired by Virtuous Software.
Previously, Rob founded the nonprofit Awaken in Dallas, including their European offices in London and Budapest; a conference for millennials called The Pursuit; and has served as Global City Leader of London for the International Mission Board.
He established VOMO with his brother Joel in 2017. A partnership with Sony Pictures, the Be A Neighbor Campaign, coincided with Sony’s film release in 2019 of A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. The campaign has assisted with COVID-19 relief, hurricane and wildfire responses. VOMO has been awarded the following Stevie Awards: Most Valuable Corporate Response to COVID-19; Chief Happiness Officer—Rob Peabody; Company of the Year—Computer Software, Small; and People’s Choice Favorite Company—Computer Software. VOMO has featured in Dallas Business Journal Best Places to Work in North Texas list. Rob is an author, and former megachurch pastor.
